The military doesn't pay for anything we the taxpayers give the military money and they use our money to do with what they wish.
Since the birth of "Don't ask Don't tell" in 1993 the US taxpayers have payed $230 MILLION dollars for the military to find and remove openly LGBT service members from their ranks.
According to statistics from the Service members legal defense network 3-4 service members are discharged EVERY DAY because of "Don't ask, Don't tell" These men and women are discharged for no other reason than because it is discovered that they are Gay.
